who are we

We provide websites ("Sites") through which visitors and other members of our community ("Visitors") can learn about our products/services, view materials on the Site, and/or use our Platform ( hereinafter referred to as the "Platform") and related services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"), which enable (i) businesses, including existing and potential customers (collectively, "Customers"), to target any brand, design, content, current or potential Products/Services solicit feedback (“Tests”); (ii) those who participate in those Tests (“Contributors”) are able to perform and document the Tests. With respect to the Site, Platform and Services, RHINO POWER may collect, record and analyze information about visitors (including its customers and contributors), which may include personally identifiable information, so that RHINO POWER can determine the Actual identity or contact information, billing information, account settings and other data (“Personal Data”).

Who is my data controller?

Certain data protection and privacy laws, such as the GDPR, distinguish between "controllers" and "processors" of personal information. A "controller" decides why and how personal information is processed. "Processor" processes personal information on behalf of the controller in accordance with the instructions of the controller.

For visitors, the Company is the controller because we collect (or you provide) your personal data.

For contributors, the Company is the controller of the personal information that the Company collects from you, except for information collected through testing by our customers.

For customers, you use our platform or services to create a test, you are the controller of the data collected during the test, with the exception of the IP address used to access the platform, which is controlled by us.

How we collect and use your data

The way we collect personal data depends on how and why you use our website, platform and/or services.

We collect personal data directly when you submit it to us as a visitor, contributor or customer, and we also collect it indirectly, for example, using automated technologies or from third parties. In order to update our database in a timely manner and provide you with the most appropriate content and experience, we may aggregate the information you provide with information from third parties in accordance with applicable laws. For example, we may obtain the size, industry and other information of your company (if you provide the company name) through channels such as professional social networking sites and information service providers. We provide more information on how we collect personal data below.

RHINO POWER uses your personal data for certain legitimate business purposes, including the following:

  • Provide you with access to and use of the Platform and Services, including registering as a customer or contributor;
  • Provide the Platform and Services to our customers
  • Provide recordings containing Contributors' Personal Data to our customers;
  • Improve and enhance your experience of using the Platform and Services, including the content and general management of the Platform and Services;
  • Keep records that may be used for tax, legal and financial purposes;
  • Understand how you obtain, use, and interact with the Services in order to provide technical features, develop new products and services, and analyze your use of the Services;
  • communicate with you;
  • Provide you with customer support based on your use of the Services;
  • To identify fraudulent, illegal activity or security breaches;
  • receive payments; and
  • Provide information to regulatory authorities as required by law.

In the following sections, we explain more specifically the purposes for which we use each type of data.

Data provided by our visitors or collected by us (“Visitor Data”)

When visitors use or browse our website, we collect their IP address and usage information, such as page views, clicks and browser type.

If a visitor submits a trial request on our website, chats with us for support, requests to watch a webinar, subscribes to our blog or other newsletter, submits a request through our "Contact Us" form, or requests to download a white paper or other content , we may also collect the following information from visitors: name, salutation, email, phone number, company name, country and IP address.

We use this visitor data to provide visitors with the information or materials they request (including marketing materials, newsletters and other related content), to analyze the use of the website, platform and services, to improve the use of the website, platform or services, and to use Other legitimate business purposes.

Data provided by our contributors or collected by us (“Contributor Data”)

account data

When a contributor creates an account with RHINO POWER, we collect the contributor's name, username and password, zip code, and email address.

We may also ask each contributor to provide us with additional information necessary or useful so that RHINO POWER can determine which tests are most appropriate for that contributor. For example, the information we may collect includes: date of birth; gender; family income range; nationality; network expertise; whether there are children (including gender and date of birth); employment status, industry; company size; work experience; game type; web browser; social network; language used; race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and other sensitive personal data (which may be voluntary and collected only as permitted by applicable law); device owned ( such as computers, smartphones, tablets); and computer operating systems.

RHINO POWER uses Contributor Data to provide and improve its services, to pay Contributors, to educate Contributors about how to use our Platform and Services, and for other legitimate business purposes.

When a contributor participates in a test, we record the contributor's activity, which may include the contributor's voice, screen content, face recording, screen recording, browser content, screen interactions (including mouse movements and clicks), text input, device configuration and any background audio or video content. (“Recordings”). Any personal or health information displayed on the contributor's screen, or mentioned in the audio, may be recorded. If one of our customers asks a contributor to provide sensitive data as part of a test, we ask that customer to add a notice before the test begins, explaining the specific sensitive data it is requesting. Contributors then have the opportunity to continue testing or decline testing.

In exchange for Contributors' use of the Platform and Services, intellectual property rights in Recordings (which may include Personal Data and facial recordings) are transferred by Contributors to RHINO POWER in accordance with the Contributor Terms of Service. Recordings are owned and managed by Customer or RHINO POWER, as applicable.

RHINO POWER uses Recordings to provide services to customers, market its products and services, prevent fraudulent or illegal activity, improve the RHINO POWER Platform and Services, and for other reasonable business purposes.

Privacy of Minors

From time to time, RHINO POWER's customers seek feedback from underage children (as defined under applicable law) using testing platforms designed specifically for children. In order to facilitate these tests, we require the consent of a child's parent or legal guardian before allowing the child to participate in the tests through the parent or legal guardian's contributor account. Our clients must ensure that tests designed for children are designed to test products and services that are age-appropriate for children and that recordings are limited to recordings of children's voices. Customer shall not collect other information about children. Feedback provided by children may be used for the same purposes and subject to the same obligations, limitations and conditions as feedback from any other contributor in similar circumstances. By accepting and approving a child-only test, such parent or legal guardian, as applicable, consents to the child's participation in the test through the Platform for the benefit of the client. We may ask customers to sign additional terms regarding testing of children. If a parent has reason to believe that their child has taken an unauthorized test through the Platform, or wishes to exercise any parental rights under this section or applicable law, including reviewing or deleting information collected in the relevant recording, the parent may call 1 Contact RHINO POWER at sales@rpbatteries.com.

Data provided by our customers ("Customer Data")

During Customer's use of the Platform and Services, Customer's employees are required to provide certain information, such as name and contact information, including email address, residential address, phone number or other relevant personal data.

RHINO POWER uses Customer Data to identify each customer, provide them access to the Platform and Services, bill customers, and fulfill RHINO POWER's contractual obligations. We also use customer data to improve our platforms and services, to inform customers of improvements to our platforms and services and best practices for using them, and for other legitimate business purposes.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that recordings of tests they create are collected and processed in accordance with applicable laws. For customers in the European Economic Area, please see our GDPR statement. For California customers, please see our CCPA statement.

Personal data collected indirectly

Tracking data, IP addresses and device fingerprints

RHINO POWER tracks whether visitors land on the RHINO POWER website through external channels (such as links in other websites or emails), and tracks the IP address from which the RHINO POWER website was accessed and information (fingerprints) of the computing device used to access RHINO POWER. RHINO POWER uses this information to improve the website, platform and services, prevent fraud and maintain information security.

Information from third parties

RHINO POWER collects Personal Data and Other Data from third parties who provide us with lists of potential customers and their contact information, provided that those potential customers allow those third parties to share their information with us. RHINO POWER will use this information for its own marketing purposes.

How we share your personal data

Data processors and sub-processors

RHINO POWER discloses Personal Data to our third-party agents, contractors, or service providers hired to perform services on our behalf. These providers may operate or support certain service features and, in some cases, directly collect information. The following are examples of functions we may use third party service providers to perform:

  • Customer support services such as ZenDesk and Intercom
  • Billing services and payment gateway providers such as PayPal
  • Hosting and content delivery network services such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform

Unless you and the company agree otherwise, we generally do not collect your payment information directly, nor store your payment information. We use third-party payment processors, such as PayPal, that collect payment information on our behalf in order to complete transactions, such as paying contributors. While our administrators are able to view and track actual transactions through the third-party payment processor's customer portal, we cannot view or To process your credit card information.

You understand and agree that if you share your personal data during the recording process, that personal data will be shared with clients preparing for the test.

As we grow, we may acquire websites, applications, subsidiaries and other businesses or business units. We may share your data among our corporate group companies. Alternatively, we may sell our company or business unit, merge with another entity, and/or sell assets or stock, which in some cases occurs in the course of a reorganization or bankruptcy liquidation. As part of these transactions, we may transfer your personal data to a successor entity, or to a purchaser or acquirer of all or a portion of RHINO POWER's assets, following RHINO POWER's involvement in a merger, consolidation, or other corporate reorganization, including bankruptcy.

Please note that if we receive information that leads us to believe that there is an emergency involving a risk of death or significant bodily injury, we may provide the information (if we have it) to law enforcement in an attempt to prevent or mitigate the risk, This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

How we store your data

RHINO POWER will delete personal data upon request, unless prohibited by law. RHINO POWER may, at its sole discretion, delete personal data one year after the termination of our business relationship, subject to our document retention policies and practices. If we have no ongoing legitimate business purpose to process your personal data, we may delete it or anonymize it. If your personal data has been anonymised, it may not be possible to delete it. In this case, the anonymized data cannot be combined with other data to identify you.

If you ask RHINO POWER to delete specific personal data about you, as we are the data controller, we will respect your request to delete and anonymize such data, unless deletion of such information would prevent us from performing essential business functions, such as providing To perform our services and bill you, calculate taxes, or perform necessary audits and perform our contractual obligations to customers, contributors, or others.

How you control your data

Visitors, contributors and customers who would like to request access to or correction of their personal data and RHINO POWER is the controller of such data should contact RHINO POWER at sales@rpbatteries.com .If RHINO POWER is a processor or sub-processor of personal data, visitors, contributors or customers should contact the relevant data controller to request access to or correction of that personal data.

How we keep your data safe
